The off-season wheeling and dealing has begun for Brgy. Ginebra.
Less than 72 hours after taking Javi Gomez de Liano with the 8th overall pick in the 2022 PBA Rookie Draft, the Gin Kings dealt the 6-foot-5 forward out of the University of the Philippines along with incoming sophomore Brian Enriquez to Terrafirma for Jeremiah Gray.
The 25-year old Gray, who was drafted by the Dyip just behind top overall pick and fellow PBA 3×3 standout Brandon Ganuelas-Rosser, is currently in the US undergoing rehabilitation from an ACL injury which he sustained while playing for TNT in the first conference of the league’s 3×3 tournament.
Aside from his short-lived stint with the Tropang Giga, the high-flying Gray previously played for Alab Pilipinas in the ASEAN Basketball League and for BBC Sparta Bertrange in Luxembourg.
The league announced the completion of the two-for-one deal via post on its social media accounts and also on its website.

“It all came together very quickly,” said Brgy. Ginebra head coach Tim Cone.
Enriquez, meanwhile, saw action in just 13 games for the reigning Governors’ Cup champions after being chosen 13th overall in last year’s rookie draft.
