Ahead of its special Christmas Day faceoff with Magnolia, titlist Barangay Ginebra looks to stay perfect, shooting for win No. 3 versus Phoenix Super LPG Fuel Masters in the PBA Governors’ Cup at the Smart Araneta Coliseum Sunday.

It’s an interesting tiff featuring a curious matchup between two talented imports in Justin Brownlee and Paul Harris.

An import with earlier stints with TNT, Harris brought his stuff to Ginebra in 2016 but was limited to one game as he suffered a hyperextended open fractured thumb.

Relegated to the sideline, Harris himself recommended a replacement who turned out to be Brownlee, and the rest is history.

The two hotshots will be on the opposite sides as the Kings and the Fuel Masters square off at 5:30 p.m., with the former looking to extend their unbeaten run and the latter out to bounce back from a first loss after two wins.

Losing in the end, the Fuel Masters hope to bounce back right away but will be facing the Ginebra squad pumped up by Brownlee and their virtual “Sixth Man” in the gallery.

In their first game before a live audience, the Gin Kings ripped apart an import-less NorthPort, 108-82, Friday at the Big Dome.
