In its initial PBA Governors Cup outing, TNT had a relatively easy going against a team still trying to get in synch with its import.
Rain or Shine, however, could be an entirely different matter.
“We have to be ready for Rain or Shine,” stressed TNT coach Bong Ravena on the eve of his KaTropa’s collision with the Elasto Painters Saturday at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
“They’re so organized, well-coached, smart and a strong team,” added Ravena.
The respect is mutual for Rain or Shine coach Caloy Garcia, who said: “We’re playing one of the best teams in the league.”
Those are just feelers for what should be a definitely interesting game.
TNT is looking to gain a share of the early lead and would do so should it follow up its 135-107 demolition of Blackwater last Wednesday.
