Justin Brownlee is taking his talents to United Arab Emirates.
While his home team Brgy. Ginebra is celebrating its recent conquest of the 2020 PBA Philippine Cup, the 32-year old resident import signed a deal to play for the Al Sharjah Basketball Club in UAE’s National Basketball League.
“I just flew to Dubai, and landed here a few hours ago,” said Brownlee during an interview with Spin.ph Friday morning.
“I will sign here with Al Sharjah, and play until April. Then hopefully back to the Philippines,” he added.
The Best Import of the 2018 Commissioner’s Cup last suited up for the Gin Kings during the 2019 Governors’ Cup and powered the team all the way to the Finals and then past Meralco for their 3rd title in the last 4 stagings of the season-ending conference.
Aside from PBA, Brownlee has played for San Miguel Alab Pilipinas in the ASEAN Basketball League and for Al Riyadi in the Lebanese Basketball League with both stints resulting in a championship.
